Spanish shops are considerably cheaper than those back home, so it’s hard to find a reason not to shop in Santa Pola. In fact, if you want to treat yourself to something new it’s probably best to wait and get a bargain here.
There are excellent shopping facilities within the centre of town and major supermarkets located in all the urbanised areas, so you’re never going to struggle to find what you fancy.
By far the most exclusive shopping is in Alicante where you’ll find a large number of well known Spanish fashion stores alongside boutiques selling designer brands.
For contrast, you can visit the town markets, which sell everything. We mean everything!
There are markets every day in Santa Pola and every Saturday - the Rastra, flea market, is open for a bargain or two. There is also a large street market every Sunday morning.
If you visit in Easter week, there’s a specialist medieval market situated in the Castle-Fortress.
